Lennon was a very decent 2m chaser in his heyday but the fact that he was beaten in a seller over hurdles on his reappearance suggests he's not the force of old. San Deng beat Latin Connection and Bocciani over C&D last month but the latter looks the pick of the weights today and, with the cheekpieces back on, should go close to breaking his duck at the 31st time of asking. Preference, however, is for CHIEF BUCANEER who shaped nicely on his return to action at Wetherby when fifth to A Bridge Too Far. Entitled to strip fitter here, he may be too strong for King Benny who races off a slightly higher mark than when only fifth at Doncaster last month.
