No Planning landed a bumper and a novice hurdle before tackling a much better contest at Newcastle won by Grandouet. This is more his level and he has plenty of scope. CRACKENTORP was useful on the Flat and reverted back to hurdling with an impressive victory over the fancied Hawk Mountain at Market Rasen. There's plenty more to come from him and he gets the nod though Crowning Jewel and Bourne look major threats. The former easily won a Carlisle bumper before a close second to Malt Master on his hurdling debut at Newcastle while Bourne, who makes his debut over timber, won three times on the level for Luca Cumani and is the type his trainer does so well with.
