Reilly's Minor takes a big step up in distance but got of the mark in a conditionals’ race at Taunton late last month and should run well if the cheekpieces work a second time. Forty Crown ended a long losing run in decisive fashion at Kelso last month but has found this trip too far in the past. MAGGIE BLUE was beaten a long way in that Kelso race but it would be no surprise if Harriet Graham’s mare got a lot closer today given her last win came over this trip at Cartmel in May when only a pound lower. The Doorman ran his best race so far for new connections at Ayr and he makes more appeal than Tuscan Gold and the returning Professor Plum.
