    Verdict

CAWTHORNE LAD has the strongest form having placed in both starts so far over timber. He finished runner-up over track and trip before beaten less than a length at Wetherby and can open his account. Kangaroo Valley is rated 90 on the Flat in Ireland and ran well for a long way for new connections at Warwick on his hurdling debut but Silkstone disappointed in soft going last time having placed on faster ground at Huntingdon before that. Giga White made only a modest start over obstacles while Pour Me A Drink has switched yards for his hurdling bow and is rated higher on the Flat than Guandi.
