It will be interesting to see if there is any market interest in Westbrook Bertie as he’s won on heavy going and was successful on soft ground over hurdles last winter. Tor is having a first run for Marjorie Fife but has tumbled down the weights. Kannapolis tries a new trip but there are possibilities about Langholm and Grazeon Roy though another three-year-old, BEECHWOOD JUDE, makes more appeal. Keith Dalgleish’s gelding was second on heavy going at Carlisle in August and probably ran better than expected in a higher grade at Ayr last time. Breathable looked to have been reeled in by the handicapper at Newbury and Winged Spur is best watched at present.
