      Verdict

DOOMSDAY ran a fair race in defeat at Musselburgh and could potentially be well in on his earlier form. Spartakos won this race last year and plenty will fancy Katie Scott’s inmate to go close. Andromedas Kingdom has a career record of 0-14 but she’s a recent recruit to Mick Appleby and this is a drop in class. Kraken Florida won a similar race at Newcastle earlier in the year and Paul Mulrennan is back aboard. Mekbat raced in blinkers and with more positive tactics on his most recent outing while Tea Garden prevailed in a handicap at Wolverhampton last month but has so far failed to trouble the judge on Turf.
