      Verdict

      Father Bertie comfortably landed a Wetherby maiden though a mark of 74 suggests this is a much tougher assignment. Cape Lion looked as though he would have a handicap in him when third at Chepstow but Debt Free Dame looked a bit high in the weights at Beverley last time. Charlotte's Secret has yet to win and has been racing over a mile but he's been up with the pace until the closing stages and this trip could help him into the frame. ANGELS ABOVE has only raced on the all-weather and hasn't been seen since January but he's moved to John Quinn so a chance is taken that he'll find enough improvement to get off the mark.
