Flying Applause may be in the handicapper's grip now having landed a double over a mile last month and there are doubts about his ability to stay today's trip anyway. Hidden Glory is another who may prefer a shorter distance but there are no doubts about DONTPAYTHEFERRYMAN lasting home. A multiple winner on the Fibresand, he's shown progressive form over hurdles this year and, if transferring that improvement back to the Flat, then Brian Ellison's charge may be up to landing this. Eijaaz recorded a couple of claiming wins over C&D last year and may figure on his return.
