        Verdict

        WISE EAGLE has been well placed since joining Adam Nicol. He won over a mile earlier in his career so dropping back from 2m here shouldn’t be a problem and none of his rivals arrive in comparable form. Single won over this trip at Salisbury in August and has travelled up from Lambourn. She is also race-fit so looks the danger with the returning Justified still 7lb higher than for his only success to date. Chelmsford third Severus Alexander has a shocking strike-rate.
