Verdict

Normally and Ancient Times both sport new headgear here having disappointed when well backed last time. The former can't be ignored but the latter is making his debut over fences and also trying a new trip. Salut Honore unseated his rider at Ayr last time but won well at Uttoxeter the time before and could easily bounce back. He makes more appeal than top weight Presque Perdre and the disappointing Mansonien L'As. BUBBLY BREEZE is still a maiden under Rules but ran Bishophill Jack to a neck over 3m1f at Wetherby in December and that appears the best form in this. Though 4lb higher now, Pauline Robson's seven-year-old gets the vote.
