    Verdict

    ROCHESTER HOUSE landed the odds by a wide margin over 2m at Beverley last time. He’ll start a short-price once again in this company with a 5lb rise unlikely to anchor Mark Johnston’s charge. The Resdev Way remains 9lb higher than when scoring over 1m6f at Yarmouth back in May and has yet to win over this far. But he ran well enough at York last time and still makes more appeal than Yabass and Piedita, who both arrive out of form though the latter is having only her second start of the year with her yard in flying form.
