      Verdict

TOTALLY MAGIC scored over track and trip last year and was not beaten far in third off today’s mark at Beverley recently - she may prove good enough. Longroom has more scope than most having only his second start in a handicap while Pilgrims Path went close at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start but attempts 7f for the first time. A Boy Named Sue is another lightly raced sort but Saltarello has only won a maiden race so far in 26 starts and Cascading Stars is also a rare winner, though continues to slide down the weights.
