Chip N Pin looks a fair chance but Cavendish and Aston Lad should give her plenty to think about. The filly is a long standing maiden but having raced over hurdles, she might be worth a chance over this trip given that the handicapper clearly doesn't think too much of her. Cavendish is 2 from 7 on the turf and there was no fluke about his recent victory at Yarmouth. Aston Lad is something of an enigma. He should have won more races than he actually has, and any rain would suit. Coronado's Gold should be fit for this after three starts this term. Bronze Dancer has to give weight around and this is easier than a number of his assignments last season. Toss The Caber has struggled off similar marks in the past. This race won't take too much in the way of winning and Chip N Pin, although moderate, might be capable of landing it for the step up in trip.
