        Verdict

        SIR GEOFFREY has been flying on Fibresand and is only 3lb higher than when successful in an amateurs' race over course and distance in October. He obviously goes well for an inexperienced rider and the hat-trick beckons. Perfect Peak had been running at Southwell before scoring at Redcar but has a penalty to carry. Boxing Shadows won twice on Polytrack in January and Hit The Lights is another who won’t fail through lack of fitness but February's Wolverhampton second Bahango will need to step up on what he's shown so far on this surface. Captain Scooby will handle conditions but is an infrequent winner nowadays.
