In depth

Verdict

Red Pike was a 33/1 winner in a higher grade over 6f here last month but possibly faces some speedier rivals in this. Longroom won over course and distance on the same day but has 9lb more to carry and it would be no surprise to see fourth Dream House get much closer. Jill Rose’s only win to date came over 6f and she is best at that trip. FOX HILL has also done most of his racing over further but did score over track and trip on the last occasion he raced over 5f on Turf and could be some value in a tricky race to evaluate.
