Neither Silver Shuffle nor Prince Blackthorn has ever won on soft going. The former was tailed off on his latest start over hurdles and the latter has disappointed this season and finished behind Pistol Basc at Sedgefield last month. CLASSINAGLASS looked as though he was edging towards a decent mark when third at Musselburgh, however, and a first victory in a handicap can't be far away. He appears to have the beating of Brunello on that run, though the latter wasn't at his best that day.
