In depth
Verdict
Alugat, Dark Champion and Bond Becks are three against the field in this wide open affair and the vote is given to Alugat. The selection was a fair third behind Dark Champion last time but he is weighted to gain his revenge on that rival and with this faster surface also in his favour he looks the one to be on. Dark Champion is sure to have his supporters but he looks vulnerable under his penalty on this faster ground. Bond Becks has dropped to a handy mark but has shown little of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Trick Cyclist is another on a handy mark but he will need plenty of luck in running. Of the remainder Limonia is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Alugat who looks sure to run his race.
