    Verdict

RAY’S THE ONE finished three lengths behind runner-up Sly Minx over this trip at Beverley but appeared to lose his action at one point before running on again in the closing stages. He’s only had two runs and may have more to offer so could be some value to reverse the form with Mick Channon’s filly. Cheshire showed improvement for the step up in trip at Doncaster but Gabriel Oak will be back over jumps in the near future.
