Verdict

I COULD DO BETTER has to concede lumps of weight all round but is impossible to oppose after sauntering home to retain his unbeaten record land the odds on his return to action at Carlisle in May. Springwood Drive is the only possible alternative after a very promising debut over 6f at Ripon where she didn't get the run of the race and stayed on nicely over that 6f. Biscuit Queen may snatch third place.
