In depth

Verdict

The veteran Ben Brody had Archie Bellamy’s claim to aid his cause when scoring over hurdles at Uttoxeter but his mount was beaten a long way when runner-up over fences next time. DA VINCI HAND won here in December, with Getaway Jewel a long way behind, and ran well on a return visit in a better-class event last month so looks the one to beat though the latter did improve here next time. Mymilan last won in 2019 and is just 3lb lower.
