Cool Cossack made a very pleasing chase debut and is chosen to land this competitive beginners chase, Dumadic and Il Cavaliere look the main rivals. Sue Smith's eight-year-old had disappointed on his two previous runs over hurdles, but after a mistake at the third last, recovered well to chase home Toulon Rouge. The experience will not be lost on him and he can go one better today. Dumadic is an out an out stayer and has put in two decent displays recently, any further softening of the ground will help his cause. Il Cavaliere put in his best performance over fences last time when second to the classy Ebinzayd, a repeat of that effort would see him go very close here. If Tom Fruit can keep his footing he should be another vying for some place money, but for the winner we will stick with Cool Cossack
