In depth

Verdict

Tell Henry reverts to hurdling on a fair mark and can take this contest at the main expense of Fresh Winter and Timetwogo. The selection had made a promising start to his chasing career prior to falling at Kelso last time but he should also have plenty more to offer in this sphere. He is stepping into the unknown with regard to the trip but his prospects of staying are promising on paper and could bring about some improvement. He's finished in the money on eight of his eleven starts and can go close. Fresh Winter really caught the eye when finishing strongly over 2 miles 5 at Doncaster and is due to race from a 3lb higher mark in future. He'd shown precious little since his debut but isn't overburdened as a result and should stay. Willie The Fish is a course and distance winner who has claims but of more interest is stablemate Timetwogo. The son of Double Trigger has hinted at ability in qualifying for a mark but handicapping and a thorough test could bring out the best in him. Singhalongtasveer rates a mention and, as a two mile winner on the Flat, should see out this new trip but others look better handicapped. Tell Henry is one of those and he rates the pick.
