In depth

Verdict

A dual winner over hurdles, DUNGEEL makes his chasing bow on his return to action. Donald McCain's charge may well be good enough as he's rated much higher over timber than Shouldavboughtgold, a runner-up over fences at Wetherby on his last couple of starts. The latter's stablemate Alpha Victor refused on his chasing debut and Son Of Flicka has yet to get his jumping together over the larger obstacles. Colonel Iain didn't fare too badly when fourth over fences at Uttoxeter and should improve from that introduction.
