A good but puzzling handicap to close matters with local trainer Jimmy Moffatt saddling no less than five of ten starters. All have claims but Lough Kent makes most appeal as he now moves back into a more suitable grade having been asked to operate at a higher level on recent starts. He gets on really well with Charlotte Jones whose 10lb is a valuable weapon. Think Ahead appeals as next best of the quintet but GOOD TRADITION is taken to repel the Moffatt assault on the prize. He was not disgraced in a hot staying handicap on the level at Chester this month and looks to inhabit a workable mark for Donald McCain to exploit at present over timber. Tonto's Spirit is consistent but has plenty to do off topweight, now back after wind surgery.
