Verdict

All bar Floating Rock and Touch Kick are previous course winners. Dr Sanderson had several of these behind when scoring here in June and again when successful the following month. A further 3lb rise is not excessive but connections of a number of his rivals will fancy their chances of turning the tables. TONTO’S SPIRIT had a nice pipe-opener at Sedgefield last week and was a winner at this meeting last year when 14lb higher in the weights. He gets a tentative vote but Lermoos Legend and Sword Of Fate are both dangers. Seddon is proving hard to place.
