Verdict

A big weight has proved no barrier to success in this contest in the past and NO PANIC should prove hard to beat today. Jamie Moore's only booked ride at the meeting, Peter Bowen's eight-year-old usually takes on much better opposition and won off a 5lb higher mark over a longer trip at this meeting 12 months ago. Golden Dream may be the danger has he still has some scope over fences and is only 5lb higher than when scoring at Bangor 10 days ago. Iona Days is also improving but his Southwell second scarcely warranted a 5lb rise in the ratings and Bankstair also has something to prove off his current mark.
