Verdict

Sonic was a shade keen but didn’t do a lot wrong on his chasing bow over a shorter trip here last month and won over 2m4f over hurdles. Ennistown won four times over timber but has been a shade disappointing in his two runs to date over the larger obstacles. FRANCKY DU BERLAIS was a consistent sort over hurdles and looks the type to make a chaser. His yard won this last year and a repeat may be on the cards given Squouateur is now 0-17 over fences and doesn’t look the same horse that placed at the Cheltenham Festival last year.
