Verdict

A cracking contest with all arriving with a decent shout. Wells De Lune has a splendid record here with his last five wins all achieved in the Lake District. He must go well but is likely to be taken on for the lead by Tonto's Spirit, another lover of this idiosyncratic track and a winner here on Saturday when fencing particularly well. Adrrastos is yet another who has been winning from the front, as did Ardera Cross and Teaser last time, so this could turn into a real war of attrition. Henry Brooke will be able to bide his time on NIETZSCHE - two from three over fences - and strike late on the long run home from the last.
