Verdict

SERGEANT PINK has proved a good servant to the Sayer operation and added to an already healthy winning account this month with Flat successes at Carlisle and Newcastle in the space of four days. He also enjoys a good record around here and should be spot-on after his recent sorties on the level. Drumlang is respected but a 7lb penalty for a recent Worcester win may prevent a follow-up victory as this looks tougher whilst Bless The Wings has started to inhabit a more viable mark despite still being required to concede weight all round. The main danger looks to be the in-form course and distance winner Bracken House, but this is a contest where a decent case can be made for all contenders.
