In depth

Verdict

Monita Des Bois should be capable of beating this modest bunch, Galway Breeze looks the obvious danger, with Just Sooty the best of the remainder. The Venetia Williams trained five-year-old was most impressive when beating Another Conquest at Towcester in February, but a bad mistake put her out of her next contest at Musselburgh. She bounced back to her best last time when a close up third behind Indien Royal and if she can repeat that performance today she will be hard to beat. Galway Breeze ran well enough behind Giogio at Wetherby last time over a slightly shorter trip. We feel this distance may be testing his stamina but he should still be involved in the finish. Just Sooty won off a mark of 104 last season, and although he should be in the shake up, he may need to drop a few pounds before winning again. Stormy Beech looks the pick of the low weights, but Monita Des Bois still looks on a winning mark and gets the decision.
