A wide open contest gets proceedings underway and there is very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Diktatit, Muaawesh and Southern Bazaar and the narrow vote is given to Diktatit. The selection was a fair fourth under a considerate ride behind Ballyhurry last time and with this slightly longer trip looking to be in his favour he looks the one to be on. Southern Bazaar rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Ethan Snowflake but that was in a seller and this looks more competitive and he is opposed for that reason. Muaawesh is another last time out winner that could go well as he defeated Bodfari Signet with a little in hand last time out, he again has conditions to suit and should be watched in the market. So Cloudy is another last time out winner that could go well but all his best form is on a softer surface, of the remainder Barney has the ability to go close but consistency is not his strong point and in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Diktatit who looks a value bet.
