City Affair can gain a deserved success by getting the better of Film Festival, Atticus Boy and Temple Place. The selection has been called a few names in the past and he's been struggling to open his account over fences. He's finished second on three of his four starts (third on the other) but hasn't done an awful lot wrong and will have no excuses this afternoon. Atticus Boy failed to give his running last time but shaped quite well over course and distance on his chase bow and is one of the principal dangers on that form. Neither Film Festival nor Temple Place have jumped a fence in public as yet but both merit respect here. The former has looked an improved performer for his new yard over hurdles whilst the latter was of a similar level of ability to the selection in that sphere and is sure to have been well schooled. Tim Vaughan's runner sets the standard though and City Affair appeals most.
