There are several previous course and distance winners in this including recent Perth third Rukwa and ZIG ZAG. The latter is suited by plenty of give in the ground and was taking on better opposition for most of last season – he could go well at a price as he’s dropped to a very fair mark. Glan Y Gors is 0-6 over hurdles but has won three times on the Flat this year and will likely be fitter than most. Coole Well was running well off higher mark over fences last season and Authorizo had a couple of runs last month to blow away the cobwebs.
