Ashington is consistent but his best form has come on sharper tracks than this. Castel Gandolfo has returned from a break in good form but HURRICANE ALI came up against a progressive sort at Aintree having gone close at Warwick the time before and could go one better here, though Too Friendly wasn’t winning out of turn at Fakenham and Belvedere Blast has been on a roll in lesser company. Banks Boy found only one too good at Cork after winning a Down Royal maiden but has more on his plate here and Inferno Sacree will also need to improve again to win for the sixth time in seven starts. Trolley Boy’s form stands up to scrutiny, however, and Fiveonefive has more scope than most of these.
