Bright Steel looked as though this step up in trip would suit and Martin Todhunter's son of Roselier is taken to open his account for the campaign at the main expense of Inn From The Cold and Star Time. The last mentioned is a consistent performer and is entitled to be thereabouts although Michael Scudamore's gelding may be a shade high in the weights at present. Top weight Inn From The Cold has been raised 11lbs since winning at Hexham in June and has more to do now. A similar comment applies to the bottom weight Hallrule who reverts to hurdling having run over fences at the back end of last season. The Sea Club is difficult to recommend on recent form and of more interest may be Minster Blue but the vote goes to Bright Steel.
