Verdict

Another race in which a market check is advised with only two of these having run in a chase previously. High Stakes is among the senior runners but had an excellent record between the flags in his younger days and has won over hurdles. Ubetya and Frimeur De Lancray will be looking to make the most of their experience. The latter sports cheekpieces on his return and would have an excellent chance on a narrow defeat at Wetherby in March. VIVA LAVILLA ran well in a couple of Grade 2 races over timber and has also won a point. He’s had a wind operation since last seen and has bags of scope. Harper's Brook also makes some appeal and Half Track is only a pound out of the handicap. Grey Skies is another nice prospect with Hasty Brook lightly-raced along with Iron Bridge.
