In depth

Verdict

Swaledale Lad was clear of the third when chasing home the well-backed Up To Something over track and trip earlier this month and is only a couple of pounds higher. NEXT SENSATION was quite impressive when winning at Plumpton nine days ago, however, and can defy his penalty as he looks a real chasing type. Blackwater King will strip fitter for his run over hurdles at Wetherby while Firth Of The Clyde and Rupert Bear are worth monitoring for future reference, as is Definite Dream. Kykate had decent form over fences in the spring and looks the pick of the remainder.
