In depth

Verdict

QHILIMAR has the best piece of recent form with a victory at Newton Abbot last month to his credit. He's 7lb higher today but can follow up here before taking his chance in next month's Hennessy. Lackamon made a winning return to action in a novice event at Hexham last time but has more on his plate today, while Humbie is upped in grade after scoring over these fences earlier this month. The Hollinwell produced one of his better efforts when runner-up last time and will be thereabouts with a similar performance, while Haydock winner Born Again looked a bit ring-rusty on his recent comeback and better is expected from him over this trip. Minella Boys has the ability to win this but has failed to complete the last twice. Mister Marker has ability but normally needs a couple of runs to put him straight.
