One Giant Leap can improve on his debut effort to score at the expense of War Anthem, Private Soldier and Julian Joachim. This maiden should not take too much winning, and on the strength of a very promising third to Monte Alto at Lingfield in May, Hugh Morrison's One Giant Leap is by far the pick. She dwelt at the start on her debut, and will know more about the game now. War Anthem got going once the penny dropped at Folkestone finishing fifth in the end, while Private Soldier makes his debut at the age of four, so is best watched. Julian Joachim got bogged down in the heavy ground at Ripon last time, and with his stable in good fettle at present, cannot be discounted from a big run, but the one with the most scope is One Giant Leap, and we are happy to side with her.
