Verdict
Habitual front-runner Australia Day has finished second over hurdles since his run at Ripon and will, no doubt, try and make all again. But you'd expect a couple of these to prove too strong in the closing stages. La Bacouetteuse stays well and will profit from a fast pace while Late Shipment won at Newmarket before finishing third over this trip at Nottingham. ARANTES has always looked as though he'd be suited by a staying trip and gets his chance to prove the theory today. He has yet to win on Turf but has rarely been beaten far and has form in better company than this. Laughing Jack could be the pick of the remainder.
