MIAMI GATOR made all in this historic handicap 12 months ago and three of his eight career wins have come over this C&D. He's 5lb higher this year courtesy of a penalty collected for last week's win at Hamilton but is clearly in good heart and Conor Harrison claims 7lb. He's unlikely to be far away again and gets the nod though there are plenty of dangers. Barwick is still heading in the right direction and is well drawn while the lightly-raced Amaze has plenty of scope for further improvement. Penalised Doncaster winner Levitate and York scorer Sam Nombulist also warrant respect while Karaka Jack is still well handicapped judged on his third to subsequent Royal Ascot winner Fennell Bay at Sandown. Silvery Moon and Fazza are others who could figure if rediscovering their best form.
