    Verdict

    Brancaster was winning at Newcastle when last in action back in 2020 but JAMIL has the more recent form. The latter has placed in both outings since winning at Catterick last month, including over track and trip last time. Mr McCall returned a disappointing favourite at Thirsk last month though is still preferred to Francisco Bay. Iolani and Park Paddocks have both been hurdling and the former is a course and distance winner so can't be ignored.
