A tricky finale as most of these arrive in decent form. Medam and Spirit Of Alsace are recent winners but the former races from out of the handicap, as does Gladsome, while the latter has a penalty to carry. Miaplacidus races off the same mark as when only beaten a length over course and distance nine days ago but jockey bookings suggest the returning Angel Flores is the pick of her stable's two runners. Neither Kosika nor Alluring Star can be ignored but PENINA won on good to firm going at Beverley last year and has been gradually finding her feet again. This looks to be her trip nowadays and she can land this for Brian Ellison.
