In depth

Verdict

Equus Dancer improved to finish fourth at Catterick last month and is preferred to the likes of Eau Top, Harry The Potter and Largy Perk, who all made modest debut efforts with the latter sporting a tongue-tie today. But the four-year-old PORTSTORM was placed behind older horses at Ayr on his introduction and he gets the vote to come out best with normal progress. Our Promise is a half-sister to a bumper winner and preferred to Temple Guide of the newcomers.
