Verdict
Bruce Almighty won handicaps at Wetherby and Uttoxeter in October but has been unable to cope with the subsequent weight rise. FIONN MAC CUL ploughed through the mud at Taunton to land a novices event over this trip then found the minimum too short at Wetherby. He can get back to winning ways. Howaboutnever won a marathon handicap at Warwick on New Year's Eve but ran poorly when stepped up in class on the same track last month while winning point-to-pointer Wicked Games has been well beaten in two starts over hurdles, a remark that also applies to Oak Vintage.
