tracked leader, not fluent 2 out, made up ground under a drive after last, kept on well
made all, jumped accurately throughout, extended lead before 2 out, tired after last and niggled along, held on
sat in rear, pushed along and lost ground before 4 out, not in contention from 3 out
Better Getalong has little chance at the weights on his debut over fences but little separates ONE FOR ROSIE and Elvis Mail on these terms. Both carries penalties with the latter winning a handicap chase at Ayr back in November but the former made an impressive winning debut over fences when easily beating a subsequent winner in heavy going at Leicester. Kim Bailey’s grey looks worth sticking with in this.
Elvis Mail (FR) 11-4 (11-8) Held up in rear, headway 7th, closed 4 out, went 2nd 2 out, every chance when not fluent last, no impression towards finish, 2nd of 6, 2 3/4l behind Eclair D'Ainay (10-9) at Kelso 2m 1f hcp (3) sft in Feb.
One For Rosie 15-8fav (11-0) Chased leader, led 5th, clear last, stayed on well, won at Leicester 2m (3) hvy in Feb beating Monsieur Lecoq (11-0) by 20l, 5 ran.
Better Getalong (IRE) 16-1 (11-9) Raced keenly in midfield, 3rd jumping 4th, ridden and weakening before 2 out, well beaten, 6th of 7, dist behind Multellie (11-4) at Carlisle 2m 3f hcp (3) sft in Feb.
