Verdict

SOLO MISSION was beaten only a length at Yarmouth on his handicap debut and, if things went to plan in the previous race, William Haggas can end the meeting with a double. His charge should have the measure of today’s opposition fitted with first-time headgear. Knightsbridge Liam went close over a shorter trip at Wolverhampton before a poor effort at the same track but Moonlight Blue was still well beaten when second at Newcastle and Royal Cosmic was eight lengths behind the winner when placed at Hamilton.
