Verdict

Lord Seamus is the selection here having fallen to a decent mark and proved himself on a quick surface. His win at Ascot earlier in the season represents good form and if coping with this track should go well at a decent price. Ballystone will be popular in the betting ring having won well last time out but it is a big ask for him to run as well as that off his new mark and he may have to settle for minor honours. Favoured Option brought to an end a run of five second places on the trot last time out when scoring at Hereford but the handicapper has been harsh and he could struggle here. Cassia Heights goes well on this surface and is a winner over the trip. A drop in the weights is to his advantage though he does seem a little out of form at present.
