Les Arceaux showed his liking for testing ground when scoring at Gowran in June though didn't look at his best in similar conditions at Ballinrobe a few days later. Quoteline Direct has managed to win a couple of races but isn't the most consistent while PADDY'S ROCK, though in good form on soft ground lately, keeps climbing the weights without winning. However, the latter still looks capable of a big run so gets the nod though the maiden Colour Contrast is gradually slipping to a winnable mark while Rubis scored on soft ground at Ayr in June.
