Verdict

Cliffs Of Dooneen should do better now going handicapping but connections reported that course winner Duty Calls didn’t handle better ground at Newcastle last time and the going today might be even quicker. Hungry Tiger has climbed the weights but continues to run well but Donald McCain and Peter Kavanagh teamed up to land this 12 months ago and LATINO FLING can continue his recent good form by completing a double for trainer and jockey. Ritson started favourite for his handicap debut at Kelso 12 days ago but weakened in the closing stages having led for a long way. He might be suited by this slight drop in distance.
